2nd Shift – Laser Operator

“`Duties“`
– Operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications
– Set up and adjust machine settings, such as speed and power, based on material type and thickness
– Monitor machine operation to ensure proper cutting and quality control
– Inspect finished products for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards
– Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
– Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and make necessary adjustments

– Proficient in operating laser cutting machines and related equipment
– Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques
– Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes
– Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
– Experience with press brake machines for bending and forming metal
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
– Attention to detail for quality inspection of finished products
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
– Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Note: Previous experience as a Laser Operator is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the necessary skills and aptitude.
