Scheduler/Planner

Job Assignment:
Fab/Weld Area

Develop shop schedule based on sales and manufacturing requirements.
• Monitor sales through daily shipping log.
• Develop shop schedule to support sales and manufacturing requirements.
• Track progress to support on-time shipments.
• Respond to sales inquiries on ship date projections.
• Plan the work the shop performs.
• Determine work necessary to accomplish schedule.
• Monitor inventory levels of key parts.
• Use office support to initiate and release MO’s.

Monitor performance to plan. Ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Direct expedite in pulling parts.
• Resolve part shortages.
• Monitor shop employee performance to plan.
• Ensure labor hours are properly assigned to work performed.
• Use office support to close MO’s.
• Weekly physical count of finished goods and reconciliation to ACPAC/MISYS.
• Monitor MISYS negatives.
• Monitor MISYS aged MO’s.

Skills;
-Strong Computer Background- MS Office and Inventory Control Systems
-Communication Skills both written and oral. Will work directly with employees from all areas of the company.
-Organized and detail orientated- Must be able to handle information coming from different sources and make solid decisions based on data.
