An unbiased, unpaid, and unsponsored review titled A High-End Pellet Grill: YS640S — it doesn’t get much more straightforward than that. As it turns out, Smoked BBQ Source had one of their readers, a man by the name of Ted, share his review of the Yoder Smokers YS640S with them. As you might expect, the review touched on the paramount features that stand above peers such as Traeger or Pit Boss. Heavy-gauge steel rather than thin sheet metal construction for one. Handcrafted in the USA, whereas the two aforementioned pellet grills are assembly line built in China. Or even the versatility and ease-of-use, you name it, the article is thorough and definitely worth a read if you’re looking for a pellet grill that is all things quality.

Plus it’s big enough to feed a crowd of people. The build quality is higher than the top of the range Traeger Timberline. I recommend you get one. I need help, I want to buy the YS640S competition pellet grill with stainless steel shelves. When I look at upgrades I’m unclear of which this already has. I see a door option, grated shelves like the top but it’s a stainless steel shelf model so does this apply to this smoker? Than I see a grate for searing doesn’t it come with this shelf? Than I see a pan option with the door for searing it comes with also correct? I can’t afford to order things that it already has this needs to be clearer if I’ve going to spend $3,500+ on a new smoker. It needs to be clear what this model comes with that’s on your accessories list.

Hello August. The YS640S Competition pellet grill with stainless shelves come with exterior stainless shelves on the front and the side. The interior cooking shelves are not stainless, but you can upgrade those if you choose. The GrillGrate aluminum grates do not come with the grill and are an available option, too. By pan option I assume you are referring to the heat diffuser plate with the access hatch to the fire pot? If so, yes, that comes included.
