Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich

“Venture with me into the world of irresistibly amazing smoked pulled pork BBQ sandwiches. Picture smoked-to-perfection pork butt, tangy BBQ sauce, and diner-style coleslaw all coming together in a symphony of flavors. As you can probably imagine, I cook a TON of foods daily. Aside from pizza or an occasional food obsession, I crave very few things daily. However, this sandwich is something I’ve eaten daily for weeks on end without ever getting tired of it.”

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 brioche or pretzel buns
  • 12 –16 ounces Perfectly Smoked Pulled Pork, warmed
  • 1–1.5 cups Diner-Style Cole Slaw
  • 8 Tablespoons Apple Sauce BBQ Sauce, warmed (or more if desired)
  • pickles

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. To your bun, add 3-4 ounces of warmed Perfectly Smoked Pulled Pork*.
    2. Next, drizzle on ≈2 Tablespoons of warm BBQ Sauce*, followed by a heaping spoonful of the Cole Slaw*. Top with the bun and enjoy!
    3. Serve with chips, pickles, and LOTS of napkins.

*Note

This recipe takes into account that you’ve already smoked the pork butt and made the cole slaw and barbecue sauce. (base recipes linked above)
