Chiefs Kingdom. More than just a term thrown around during the football season — it’s real. And in the last few years, it’s become synonymous with immense pride and thundering passion. It’s palpable. This season has been no different with yet another post-season drive filled with heart. We know this kind of pride and understand deeply what it’s like to have this kind of passion, because when it comes to handmade grills and smokers, we live it. So when we were approached to build a Kansas City Chiefs-styled Cimarron pellet smoker, it was a decision that made itself. We were all in.
Seething with the quintessential Chiefs red and yellow, this custom Cimarron is second-to-none. From inception, our team of designers and engineers poured hours into how the pit might look — paint, graphic signage, placement of signage, functionality, and of course, overall aesthetics — painstakingly designed to become a rolling, smoking, ultimate tailgate machine for every single Chiefs home game.
When you approach the business end of the smoker, standout features run long, starting with the mirror-polished chrome smokestack with a laser-cut Kansas City Chiefs logo that works to adjust the damper. A robust cooking chamber geared to feed masses of fans sits on our signature competition cart, but it’s 100 yards from standard. This one rides on a set of custom painted, in-your-face wheels wrapped with over-sized off-road tires…and that’s just the beginning. Just below the stainless steel prep shelf, a large Kansas City Chiefs logo cuts through the metal with back-plated contrasting colors. Continue around to the boiler-style firebox and another custom-cut Chiefs logo is backplated above the functioning winch. The back side of the Cimarron has even more Kansas City Chiefs pride with a large “Chiefs Kingdom” logo offset from the cooking chamber, as well as another large arrowhead logo on the cart.
And while this custom smoker has all the razzle-dazzle and spark of the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s the championship flavor that really takes it all.
