INGREDIENTS
INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the Yoder Smokers Wood-fired Oven inside the YS640S Pellet Grill and set the grill temperature to 500 degrees.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to a 9×13 rectangle. Spread 3/4 cup of the pizza sauce over the dough. Keep the amount of sauce light so as to not make the dough soggy.
- Next, take a pizza cutter and cut the dough lengthwise into 2-inch thick strips. You should have six strips total per dough ball. On each strip, place about 2 tbsp shredded mozzarella on top of the pizza sauce followed by 7 to 8 pepperoni slices. Fold up the bottom part of the strip and tightly roll into each rose.
- Place the rose into a 9×13 cast-iron skillet. Repeat the process until you have 18 completed roses. Transfer the baking dish to the wood-fired pizza oven. Close the oven door and cook the pizza for 12 minutes turning halfway through the cooking process.
- Once golden, remove the baking dish from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil and hot honey. Serve and enjoy!
