Yoder Smokers debuts The 72-inch El Dorado at The World Food Championships
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Yoder Smokers is bringing its biggest live-fire grill yet to the World Food Championships in Indianapolis. The 72-inch El Dorado makes its public debut at WFC, October 15–18.
Two independent cooking carriers, each with its own handwheel, let cooks run two fires at two heights at the same time. Below them, a common floor lined in full firebrick holds heat for hours, not minutes.
It rolls on an off-road cart with all-terrain tires and front and rear steering, so the El Dorado goes where the cook goes.
“The independent cooking carriers give you tremendous control over the fire, and the steering, stance, and overall design make the El Dorado truly one of a kind,” said Joe Phillips, President of Yoder Smokers. “It’s functional equipment, but it’s also a piece of American craftsmanship we’re extremely proud of.”
